Sale! Friends Book Sale is a service devoted to assisting libraries, library friends groups, schools and other not-for-profit organizations by selling their discarded or donated media on the Internet. Friends Book Sale is a free, no-obligation service designed to help you get the greatest possible value from your library’s media discards and donations. We take your discarded and donated materials and sell them on a wide variety of Internet marketplaces – including Amazon, eBay, Half, Barnes & Noble, Alibris, Abe Books and Biblio – and provide your organization with a minimum of 30% of the proceeds! Are you an individual looking to sell your own unwanted books and other media? If so, please click here. How does this service work? We provide you with free boxes and pre-paid UPS shipping labels. You fill the boxes with saleable discarded or donated media (books, CDs, audio tapes, DVDs, and video tapes) and request a UPS pickup. We then list your material for sale on our Internet marketplaces. Every month we provide you with a report of listed and sold items and a check for your earnings. It’s that simple!
